This web site serves shogi information from various aspects such as news of professional, shogi history, and tactics for non Japanese players.

Who I am
This web site is owned by Rembrant who is a Japanese Shogi player. I am 3 Dan in 81Dojo, and 2 Dan in Shogi Wars. My favorite opening is 4th-file Rook.
I am Japanese and had lived in Unite Arab Emirates. In UAE I met many Shogi lovers and joined Abu Dhabi Shogi Club. We have online Shogi Team, and entry to the World Shogi League (WSL) every year. In 2020, we got first place in devision D of the WSL, and promoted to devision C. Now we are playing in devision C.

Why I created Shogi Gallery
My motivation is to widespread the Shogi culture. The board game is developed in Japan and have enjoyed since 11 century. Unfortunately, most of the information is able to be reached only in Japanese. I would like to share many information as much as possible, even my English is poor. I am grad if you find useful hints to improve your Shogi skill from this website.
